As a marina, we recommend that every boat go through a winterization process before the chance of freeze. Depending upon the engine and the customer request we recommend the following: stabilizing fuel, using corrosion guard under the cowling, grease where needed, run antifreeze, check oils and change if needed and run fogging oil when needed. Without winterizing your engine, you take a major risk in ruining your engine due to freezing temperatures. Trust us - winterization cost less than a repower!
